The Service
Rise is a mobile application that provides an infinite, curated feed of motivational quotes personalised by your goals. The app includes a home screen widget, daily lock screen notifications, a liked quotes library, and the ability to create and share quote cards.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Rise. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
Permitted Use
You may use Rise for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
- Use automated means to access, scrape, or collect content
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or its content
Intellectual Property
Rise and all its content, design, code, and graphics are the property of Álvaro Souza. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without express written permission.
Quotes attributed to public figures are sourced from publicly available materials for inspirational purposes. If you believe any quote is misattributed or infringes on rights, contact us and we will review it promptly.
Price
Rise is provided completely free of charge. The app contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no paid tiers, and no advertising — now and in the future.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Content is provided for motivational and inspirational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind — psychological, medical, financial, or legal. You use the app at your own discretion.
Limitation of Liability
Because Rise is a free app provided at no cost, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the app is limited to USD $0. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Availability & Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Rise at any time, with or without notice. Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically if you breach any provision.
App Store Terms
Rise is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Terms of Service. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support or handle any claims related to Rise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
